Former Playboy Playmate Julia Orayen stole the show at a presidential debate in Mexico as she appeared in a form-fitting white dress, boasting her generous cleavage, to deliver a box of papers which would determine which of the four presidential candidates would speak first.

Essentially a Mexican version of Vanna White, Orayen’s brief appearance created quite the buzz on social networking websites including Twitter, as former Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda tweeted:

“The best was the girl in white with the cleavage at the beginning.”

The curvaceous model, who has posed nude for Playboy, wore a skintight white dress with tear-drop cutout.

Orayen’s name held the third and fourth position under Twitter’s Mexico City trends throughout the day of the presidential debate, MercuryNews.com reported.

Director of the Federal Electoral Institute Alfredo Figueroa, who requested an aide in “sober dress” as he is responsible for organizing the debate, blamed the incident on a production associate hired to assist with the political debate. The Federal Electoral Institute issued an apology to the citizens of Mexico.

Orayen indicated that the production team hired by the institute had instructed her to adorn a long, white dress, which she selected from her own closet. She was quoted having said:

“It was my only choice for a long dress. I didn’t think it would reveal as much or cause this much scandal. i learned I like myself better when I’m covered up.”

New Alliance party candidate Gabriel Quadri told MVS radio:

“It is impossible not to concentrate your attention on a woman so spectacular.”

Enrquie Pena Nieto of the Institutional Revolutionary Party currently maintains a double-digit lead over conservative Josefina Vazquez Mota and leftist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

What do you think about the Julia Orayen’s scandalous attire at the Mexican debate?
